Katelyn Thompson: Hello & Welcome to Kate's Kitchen! My name is Kate, I am 22 years old. I am currently attending South Hills School of Business and Technology to obtain my Associates Degree in Business Administration: Marketing and Management, which is why I started this blog for my Internet Marketing class. Even though, when I graduate I don't plan on going into the food industry. However, I want to be able to show future prospective employers that I am able to maintain a successful blog. I chose focus my blog on food because at a very young age, I think, I had to learn how to cook on my own. I lost my mother in a car accident the day before my 17th birthday. She always took great care of myself, my father, and my 19 year old brother. She always made sure everyone had lunches before they left for work or school, and the made sure everyone had a good home cooked meal on the table sharply at five o'clock. I took it upon myself to make sure that my father and brother were still taken care of when it came to making dinner, lunches, and snacks. So I would like to dedicate my blog in memory of my wonderful mother, I wouldn't have known any of this if it wasn't for her.
